He got his training when he was living in Santiago, Chile, which is where he's from. GARFUNKEL: (Singing) I'm on your side, oh, when times get rough.ĮSPINOSA: My dad was a mold maker - molds for parts, like, engine parts or any other metal or even plastic parts.

So for him, that song kind of really resonated with him and his struggle through his life. And from there, things got really bad financially. Like, he lost his father when he was, like, 5 or something. (SOUNDBITE OF SONG, "BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED WATER")ĪRT GARFUNKEL: (Singing) When you're weary, feeling small.ĮSPINOSA: My dad had a lot of hardships. He died of COVID-19 in February at the age of 73.
